Learn About "Room 20" Podcast Creator Joanne Faryon's "Writing for the Ear" Class

Award-winning investigative reporter Joanne Faryon, a Senior Lecturer in Discipline at Columbia Journalism School, is the creator and host of the acclaimed new L.A. Times Studios podcast Room 20, which chronicles the twists and turns in her two-year search to learn the identity of an unconscious man and to find out the truth about his accident.  At Columbia, Professor Faryon offers such Master of Science Program classes as "Writing for the Ear," which teaches students how to write effective and engaging audio stories.  Please watch the video below to learn more about Room 20, "Writing for the Ear," and what makes for good audio writing.
