Audio Essentials Bootcamp Registration

The Audio Essentials Bootcamp is a fast-paced and intensive course taught entirely online. Students will need a computer, wifi connection, and a smart phone to participate.

Classes with the instructor will be held synchronously from 6:30 to 8:30 pm ET via zoom on Mondays and Thursdays: Monday, April 1, Thursday April 4, Monday April 8, Thursday April 11, Monday April 15, and Thursday April 18. Students will be invited to the zoom session using the email address that they submit at registration.

The course is $500 USD. Alumni of the Journalism School receive a 10% discount ($50) while current students, faculty and officers of other Columbia University schools receive a 5% discount ($25). All discounts will be applied as refunds upon payment of the full course fees. If you are unable to pay by credit card and need to pay in another form, please contact Director Kate Kennedy at krk16@columbia.edu 

Upon submission of this form, you will be emailed a confirmation of receipt of your interest and a link to pay the course fee. You are not considered registered until we have received full payment. 

This course is first come, first served. Columbia Journalism School reserves the right to cancel the course for any reason. Students may request a refund in writing should they choose not to take the course. Refunds will be given at the below rates: 

• 8+ weeks from course start date: 100%
• 4+ weeks from course start date: 75%
• 2+ weeks from course start date: 50%
• No refund within 1 week of course start (this includes for medical reasons)
