Four Columbia Journalism School Students Awarded Wall Street Journal Internships

We are pleased to share the news that four members of the Columbia Journalism School Class of 2020 - Jem Bartholomew, Sawyer Click, Benoît Morenne, and Andrew Williams - have been awarded full-time, paid 2020 internships at The Wall Street Journal.  After being chosen from a competitive pool of applicants, The Wall Street Journal's interns will work closely with reporters and editors to deliver prompt, accurate reporting of news relevant to their beat. During their time at the newspaper, they will generate their own story ideas and follow the stories through to completion with supervision and guidance from an editor.

Before coming to Columbia, Jem graduated from the University in Oxford with a first-class history degree and worked at the Financial Times in London, where he won an award for his pensions coverage.

Sawyer Click, a current student in the M.S. in Data Journalism Program, will join The Wall Street Journal's corporate graphics desk. A graduate of Texas State University, Sawyer previously held a data and graphics internship with NBC News Digital.
