Friday Chronicles - Twelfth Edition

As a Columbia student, you will receive mentorship and hands-on training from faculty who are gifted teachers as well as world-class working journalists. As leaders in the profession, our professors are continually producing acclaimed books, magazine and newspaper stories, podcasts, investigations, documentaries, and multimedia features. In Columbia Journalism School's collaborative environment, faculty may sometimes work on projects with each other - and also with our students and alumni. Just this week, Professor Nina Berman ('85 M.S.) and Professor Duy Linh Tu ('99 M.S.) co-directed the Scientific American short documentary "Fallout" about the risks posed by the United States' nuclear weapons program. Alum Jeffrey DelViscio ('06 M.S.) served as the executive producer and as a cinematographer. Recent alum and adjunct lecturer Sebastian Tuinder ('21 M.S.) also worked as an editor and cinematographer on the project. Watch their collaboration below:
